The beach
The reef along much of Las Canteras calms the water behind it, so the central stretch is a gentle swim. It is approximately ten minutes on foot from the house, which means no daily drive and no parking.
The house
Five bedrooms let extended families give everyone a bed without folding sofas. Ground-floor bedrooms have private bathrooms, and the rooftop terrace gives parents somewhere to sit while the day winds down.
Everyday practicalities
The supermarket around the corner, mini fridges in every bedroom, the covered outdoor kitchen and optional daily housekeeping all make a longer family stay easier. Castillo de La Luz, about three minutes away, is an easy short outing.
